SMIL User Agent Benchmark
Why a SMIL user agent benchmark?
- Multimedia players are becoming ubiquitous
- Can be developed as applet or stand-alone application
- Requires support of many different file formats
- Requires on-the-fly creation and control of display objects
- Requires XML parsing support
- Requires support for interactive display regions
- SMIL is a simple language, and not all of it needs to be implemented to be
useful
